WellaPlex – bond rebuilding treatment in Brighton

What it is
WellaPlex is a professional three-step strengthening system that rebuilds broken bonds inside the hair. It can be added to colour or bleach services, or used on its own, to help hair feel stronger, smoother and easier to manage.

How it works

  • No.1 Bond Maker (in-salon): Mixed into your colour/lightener or applied as a stand-alone step to create and rebuild bonds.
  • No.2 Bond Stabilizer (in-salon): Applied after rinsing to reinforce the new bonds and rebalance pH for optimal strength and softness.
  • No.3 Hair Stabilizer (at home): Weekly top-up that keeps hair strong and smooth between salon visits.
More information

Why clients love it

  • Helps reduce damage during lightening and colouring
  • Supports perfect lift and colour development without changing developer or timing
  • Hair feels healthier, more manageable and shinier

What to expect

  • Add-on to colour/bleach: We mix No.1 into your formula, process as normal, then apply No.2 for 10 minutes before shampoo and finish.
  • Stand-alone treatment: Applied at the basin for targeted strengthening, then finished with a blow-dry.
  • Timing: Add-on usually adds around 10–15 minutes; stand-alone 30–45 minutes.

Aftercare
Take home No.3 Hair Stabilizer and use it once a week to maintain strength and smoothness. Pair with sulphate-free shampoo, conditioner and heat protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is WellaPlex only for blonding?
No. It benefits any chemical service, including permanent colour and toners, and can be used alone for strengthening.
Will it change my colour timing or developer?
No, colour and lift develop normally; WellaPlex is designed to work without adjusting peroxide strength or timing.
How often should I use No.3 at home?
Use once a week between salon visits to maintain strength and softness.
Does it make hair look shinier?
Yes. By reinforcing the internal structure, hair reflects light better and feels smoother.
Can I add it to highlights or balayage?
Absolutely. It’s ideal with lightening services to help reduce breakage and keep hair feeling healthy.
