Partial Head Highlights – soft, visible brightness in Brighton
Want a subtle lift without the commitment of a full head? Partial Head Highlights place light pieces through the parting, crown and sides to brighten where it shows most. We tailor the weave and placement to your haircut and skin tone, then finish with a toner for a clean, seamless result.
What to expect
- Consultation: We discuss your goals, maintenance and colour history.
- Targeted foiling: Fine weaves around the face, parting and crown; underneath layers are left natural for contrast.
- Tone & finish: Lightener processes in foil, then we tone to cancel brass and perfect your shade.
- Timing: Please allow 2–3 hours, depending on starting colour, length and thickness.
- Location: Friendly Kemptown salon with easy links from Brighton Marina, North Laine and Hove.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a partial different from a half head?
Partial targets the most visible areas only; half head covers the top, crown and sides more extensively.
How long does it take?
Usually 2 - 3 hours, depending on hair length, thickness and desired lift.
Will I need a toner?
Yes. Toning refines the shade and neutralises brass for a seamless blend.
Is this good for first-time highlighters?
Absolutely. It is a subtle, low-commitment way to try lighter pieces.
How often should I maintain it?
Every 8–12 weeks works for most. Alternate with a toner or quick T-section to stretch visits.
